International Transfer

Incites is headquartered in Australia and has affiliates and service providers in other countries, and your personal information may be transferred to Australia, the United States or other locations outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction.

We use Amazon Web Services (AWS), a top tier, highly scalable, secure cloud computing platform provider to host our Services on servers located in Australia and the U.S. If you are a non-U.S. or Australian resident, this means that your personal information will be transferred to Australia or the U.S.

By entering personal information into the Services, you consent to that personal information being hosted on servers located in Australia or the U.S. While your personal information will be stored on servers located in Australia or the U.S., it will remain within Incites’ effective control at all times. Each data hosting provider’s role is limited to providing a hosting and storage service to Incites, and we’ve taken steps to ensure that our data hosting providers do not have access to, and use the necessary level of protection for, your personal information. They do not control, and are not permitted to access or use your personal information, except for the limited purpose of storing the information. This means that, for the purposes of Australian privacy legislation and Australian users, Incites does not currently “disclose” personal information to third parties located overseas.

European Union users should read the important information provided here about transfer of personal information outside of the European Economic Area.

If you do not want your personal information to be transferred to a server located in Australia or the U.S., you should not provide Incites with your personal information or use the Service.

Other Sites and Services

To provide the Service to you, Incites pulls a range of data from your Google Analytics account and other third-party data sources, which you have explicitly authorized. For logging into the data sources, our Service uses OAuth. This is a secure authentication method, which means that you never have to type your password into our Platform, as the authentication happens on a webpage hosted by the data source (eg. Google, Facebook or Microsoft). You can revoke our right to access your data at any point from a third-party data source by accessing their respective interface for revoking access rights.

The Service also contains links to other websites and services. These links are not an endorsement, authorization or representation that we are affiliated with that third party. We do not exercise control over third party websites or services, and are not responsible for their actions. Other websites and services follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of the personal information you submit to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of the other websites you visit and services you use.

If you choose to pay for the Service by credit card, your credit card details are not stored by the Service and cannot be accessed by Incites staff. Your credit card details are encrypted and securely stored by Stripe to enable Incites to automatically bill your credit card on a recurring basis. You should review Stripe’s Privacy Policy to ensure you are happy with it.

Social Media Widgets

Our Website may include social media features, such as the Facebook “like” button and widgets, such as the “share this” button. These features may collect your personal information and track your use of the Website. These social media features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Website. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing such functionality.

User Generated Content

We may make available on our Website, or link to, features that allow you to share information online (e.g., on message boards, in comments, in chat areas, in file uploads, through events, etc.). Please be aware that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online, that information becomes public and can be collected and used by others. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the use, storage or dissemination of such publicly-disclosed personal information. By posting personal information online in public forums, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties.

‍‍

Incites does not knowingly acquire or receive personal information from children under 16. If we later learn that any user of our Service is under the age of 16, we will take appropriate steps to remove that user’s information from our account database and will restrict that individual from future access to the Service.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy you will be notified via e-mail (if you have an account where we have your contact information) or another manner through the Service that we believe reasonably likely to reach you (which may include posting a new privacy policy on our Website – or a specific announcement on this page or on our blog).

Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon our posting of the new terms and/or upon implementation of the new changes on the Service (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting).
